Looks like Mimi and Pa had their fun adventures in the Rocky Mountain National Park while the kiddos were at camp. Thanks for making Cousin Camp happen so we could go to Red Rocks. Yall are the best!!

While the kids were at camp, the adults drove into Golden, CO for the day and enjoyed the local breweries and the cutest downtown!

So glad Ali's teeth could grace Golden with their presence...

Coors Brewery - Tap into the Rockies!

While we were playing and enjoying a day drink, my hubby was very active and went mountain biking. And in true boy fashion, these are the only pictures I have...or maybe he was just crushing it that D wasn't able to take pictures. :)

However, he did make it back in time to snap this gem of us below at one of the local bars ... It's hard to say, but I dont think we are really action shot people ... LOL!

Ali was daring enough to roll the dice for the mystery shot. She got a 2, and received a gross, hot shot of Jose Cuervo (Cue gag) for $2. I would have gladly pay the regular price paid for a nicer chilled shot of Patron. Or actually, nothing. I will pay you $2 to take this shot back ...

We ended the day at Red Rocks. Ali and Eric have some great friends that live in Golden. They went to the show with us, provided an amazing Mini-Van Tailgate, and let us crash at their house. Ali and Shannon went to OU together, and I must say, I think Shannon is my favorite college friend of Ali's.

They also introduced me to Princess Yum Yum, brewed in Denver - I think I love this beer!

Gross - this guy ... all I can say is Gross. He went around and sold pink sunglasses for $5 and some change. (Apparently Miranda has a song called Pink Sunglasses, so it was definitely a think there...). He was missing all but 2 teeth and ended up "gumming"/biting/awkwardly kissing Ali's arm halfway through the conversation. And if you know my sister, you know how much of a germ-a-phobe she is on a regular basis. I was dying laughing and literally crying, almost peed my pants with this conversation and when he "gummed" her arm. Sorry Ali, but thanks for taking one for the team to provide these lasting memories!!!

The Amazing Justin and Shannon - How cute are they?!?!? Derek was definitely jealous of Justin's jean shorts. If it wasnt 50 degrees and colder, I'm sure D would have joined in with hid Jorts.

Wade Bowen, Randy Rogers, and Miranda Lambert - Woohoo!! I'm glad we drove all the way to CO to see fellow Texans. What a great show, Wade and Randy were amazing, and Miranda was Miranda :)
