Sisters Take CT and NY

**Copied from Alison's blog.  I cannot believe I forgot to post this!!  Thank you Ali for keeping up with the summer and taking all of the pictures :)

The last time my sister and I took a trip with just the two of us, it was my 25th birthday in Italy. She was studying abroad, and I lived in NYC. Italy seemed like the perfect meet up spot at the time. Fast forward 10+ years, and we now have 5 kids between us. Life is crazy awesome hectic. But not too hectic for my hubby, and our parents to make time for my sister and I to have another girls trip. Kels had a work trip to visit her NorthEast clients. Which also means, I had a work trip. I had to work hard to make this trip happen. Ha! I found a flight for $175, and I crashed with my sister in her amazing hotel, so that is what I like to call a WIN WIN.

One of the views from the CT Delamar hotel.  Enjoying the complimentary breakfast before we started our journey on "Take Your Sister To Work Day'.

It's been 10 years since we lived in NYC, so touristy Grand Central Station pictures are a must. Kelsey's boss was super sweet to put up with our photography shenanigans.

Best restaurant in CT. And maybe ever in my book.
Just trying to capture our Gister moments, one angle at a time.

A little R&R with the sister. I turned down suite tickets to a Yankee game, and a premier party for Aziz 'Master of None'. At some point, you just have to say no to all the glorious things NYC has to offer. It was hard, but I needed to just BE. I worked on my blog. It was much needed down time. I have missed blogging.

She's baaaaaack.

Instead of Where's Waldo....it's where's Ali and Kelsey. This is one of the pictures I had Kelsey's boss take. It was a lot better picture when I envisioned it in my head - ha!
The morning commute. We walked through the streets of CT, and then road the train in to the city. It was BEAUTIFUL. We picked the perfect time to go. That commute wouldn't be so glorious in the dead of winter.

The blondes are finally out numbered. Toto - we aren't in Texas anymore.

Doesn't everybody take artsy selfies on planes? At least I only post mine to my blog. I don't do the whole social media selfie thing.

Thanks for coming Ali!!!
