Eli's Summer 2017

1) Baseball is still life! Even the heat doesn't stop him.
2) Learning to write and recognize letters and numbers
3) Loves to paint
4) Loves Dinosaurs.  Knows all of the names, and knows which ones are carnivores a herbivores.
5) Started to wake up in the middle of the night and come to our bed. This boy just wants to snuggle and its so hard to say no.  He is the best snuggler ever, and knows the way to his mama's heart.
6) Superheros!!
7) Beach and Mountain trip.  He keeps asking to go back to Colorado, and he loved the cooler weather.  We all did kid!
8) Loves the swimming pool and getting more adventurous with his swimming and the deep end.
9) Wants to jump off anything and everything.
10) I love hearing him sing, and he loves his songs!
11) Loves to cook with me (when we have time).  He gets to crack eggs, put all the ingredients together, and helps me stir.

Sweet boy picking flowers for his mama.
All you need is a good blanket, baseball hat, and glove.

 Blueberry muffins - his favorite!

4th of July
Love our new dentist, and she lives in our neighborhood!!  She always has a tent up for neighborhood events.  So smart!  Of course he did great, but who wouldn't when you can watch movies on the ceiling while in the dentist chair?!? Of course there is over crowding.  Our savings account is just an orthodontic account in a few years ... great!
Don't even try to put a T in front of him.  Coach pitch all the way.

Has to have his Texas Rangers hat all at all times, even after baths...

We love when Ryder comes and visits!!  "Reunited, and it feels so good!"

Spiderman!
These two love to warm up and cuddle after a good swim.  Melt my heart!

First time trying on his super hero costumes.  I love his reaction in the mirror.  He is so happy!
A rare occasion that Sienna is out in broad daylight and letting Eli pet her.  She must be desperate for some attention.

The Dinosaur expo that came to town!!

Don't you just love the scenarios they make you re-enact to get the perfect picture of a T-Rex trying to get you???  This picture makes me laugh hysterically every time.  I mean, their acting skills are on point!! :)

This kid was amazing on 14-15hr road trip to Colorado.  I am so impressed.  I can't tell you how great he was!!
Convertibles, Colorado, and Cousins = <3

first time playing baseball on real bases!  Love his game face.

Flying drones!!

Getting more adventurous in the pool. But really, just wants to jump off everything!!

Naked baseball before bed.  Because, well ... why not?? :)
Future pitcher??  Look at that follow through.

My Snuggle bug

We have a daybed in Everley's room.  Before bed, if both kids are good, as their reward, we pull out the bottom bed and let them jump off the top.  Really helps burn some energy since its so hot outside.  And then you get these shots!!!  I didn't notice until later, but I noticed that Eli was not looking where he was landing.  My first thought, was no fear and so brave.  But then, I realized he was looking in the big mirror as he jumped to watch his poses...Silly kid!  Never a dull moment with this 3 year old.
Possibly my FAVORITE!

Derek took Eli to see Minons during all the rain from Hurrican /Harvey.  Nobody was there, and they have the movie theatre all to themselves.  They were in Heaven!

Derek's Recap: "Took Eli to see Despicable Me 3 today, we were the only ones in the theatre which is ideal for a 3 yr old.. we conversed (and sometimes yelled) the entire time and walked around the theatre like we owned the joint. Now that's how to see a movie!!"

Love these two together - such a great big brother.  Monkey See, Monkey Do.
Playing in the Rain from Hurricane Harvey

School Friends!

This kid was so happy they had dinosaur week in school.  Apparently, he was correcting his teachers about the names of the dinosaurs, and was pretty serious that they correct their pronunciation.  LOL!
