I swear, this kid is a direct descendant of Noah. Not sure why it took us this long to go to the zoo (considering it is right by our house), but we finally made it. It was just Eli and I this past Saturday, so I wanted to spend some quality time with him knowing those days will be limited coming up. We had a blast! So much, that we decided to go back the very next day with Derek. Partly, because I wanted Derek to experience the pure joy on this kids face with EVERY SINGLE animal.
"Hi Tiger!" It did not matter which animal we went to see, he would yell out "Hi ___", "Come Here ____", "Bye ____". He was definitely the most vocal at the zoo and I loved it!
We spent a lot of time with the turtles ...
Feeding the Goats. We could have stayed there all day
They had a ton of peacocks and chicken just freely roaming around the zoo. Eli would run towards the peacocks saying "Come Here PeaPocks" ,,, and they were not phased at all!
Second Day - going for Round 2 of the Goat Feedings
These faces are my favorite!!! Just look at that smile - full of excitement, joy, and pure bliss. He is in his element!
Train ride around the zoo- Choo Choo!!
