January Cousin Camp

My sister recently had MAJOR surgery.  She was basically repairing her body after 3 kiddos.  There were several factors involved that led to this, but basically she had a hysterectomy and then the internal organ doctors put the rest of her body back together like humpty dumpty - literally.  So many things were out of whack, but we are so thankful that the doctors were able to accomplish everything - even if it did take 9 hours (sheesh!).  Surgery was successful, but now the 8 week recovery time, no driving, no lifting, no stairs, it was hard for her to walk to the kitchen ...and all of this with three kids under the age of 6.  Eli and I ended up going up there the week mom had to go out of town.  I am glad we could be there to help or at the very least hang out with them.

Love that Ali still tries to be annoyed even on drugs.
Adventures with Uncle Kygoo

Besties!
Me getting a taste of the real mom life!  Toting kids around in the mom mobile.  Eli was so impressed with the TV on the back of the seat.  It did not matter how many times we road in that car, every time he was enthralled and said "WHOA".  Sorry buddy, don't get used to it :)

Love these series of pictures.  Uncle Kygoo took Ryder and Eli exploring in the pasture.  They were so cute running around and playing with all the animals.

Love this picture of them running without any cares in the world!!  Love toddler life!

Dinner with Pa and Ryder

They were hysterical on the trampoline.  Eli was thrilled to finally be one of the big kids.  Every time he would get close to the edge it was all I could do to push him back in the middle.  And then I would just tell Hudson to jump so he couldn't get up.  The video is too funny!
