20 Months Stats

20 Months!  What happened to my baby boy?? This is his last month as an only child, and I am trying to soak up every minute.

1) Loves, Loves, Loves any and all animals.
2) He is starting to form more 3 word sentences and putting phrases together.
3) Oranges and tacos are his new favorite food.  Doesn't matter what type of taco, just wrap it in a tortilla and you are good to go.  This is how I am getting him to eat some of his veggies :)
4) Favorite books - Colors, Big Red Barn, I love you as Much, and Goodnight Moon
5) Must have a ball with him at all times.  Bath, playroom, car, outside...loves playing with balls
6) Sings Twinkle Twinkle and Hush Little Baby (Papa) when we rock at night
7) Favorite TV shows are now Three Pigs and Little Einsteins
8) Keeps a steady beat on his lap when watching Little Einsteins - and it is actually in rhythm!
9) Always has to kiss and hug my belly before he goes to bed.  He will lift up my shirt, motorboat/kiss my belly an say goodnight to Evi.
10) Puts his sippy cup in my belly buttons and says "I share Evi, I share" ... possibly the cutest thing ever!
11) Goes down to bed 6:30/7p, and wakes up around 6:30a if we are lucky.  Recently, he has been waking up at 5:30 and I just keep him in there until at least 6.  I would really love for him to get that extra hour or sleep.
12) Started to sleep with a pillow, but will not allow anything else in his crib.  No blanket, no stuffed animals -- just his airplane pillow.

Playing in his tent.  He even let us come in (barely) - how nice of him :)

All this boy wants is for our cat to love him back.  Instead she runs away hissing for no reason.  Eli seemed to find a replacement ... my fur vest.  He picked it up one day, started petting, hugging, and kissing it, calling the vest "Sienna" ... HYSTERICAL (and/or slightly creepy ...)
Sweet cuddles from my little boy
Working on our highs (Mozart Mouse) and lows (Beethoven Bear) on the piano.  After watching the video I took of him, I realized that he would find the same note that I would play.  I was totally impressed, and did not even realize it at first.  My mom told me that perfect pitch is learned between the ages of 2-7, so we will see how this pans out.

Packing and Getting ready for Mimi's annd Aunt Ali's house

Already wanting to play in the baby swing.  I actually bought this swing from Eli's previous daycare.  He used this in his day and loved every bit of it, so I knew I wanted it for his little sister.  I can't believe he was so tiny back then.

Saturday morning cartoons with mom!!  AKA - our early morning snuggle time.  I wouldn't miss this for the world

He was literally screaming TACOS in this picture
Lifting weights with dad on the back porch.
That hair and those tacos! Clearly this is my child :)
