Thanksgiving 2016

Thanksgiving was great.  We went up to Southlake/Colleyville and spent some good quality time with most of our family, and of course the animals.

Visit to the fire station with cousins.

Eli loved wearing his fire helmet, but he would wear it like a baseball hat with the bill forwards.  Too cute!
Mesmerized by the real fire man

Hud has his hat on right ;)

Aslynn and Everley

Hud and Eli had a sleep over together, and then we went to Granny's house the next day.  These two boys, such a sweet handful.  Love them together!

10 o'clock movie date night.  I made it and did not fall asleep.  Can you believe it?!?!  It was rally time indeed.
Thanksgiving morning we started our day by feeding the animals their Thanksgiving breakfast.  They loved starting off with their carrots and apples.
Everley LOVED the horses and all the animals.  Everytime she pet their noses she would let out a sweet giggle.  I think she is going to be a huge animal lover like her brother.

Everley's First Thanksgiving
That afternoon we went over to Ali and Eri'cs.  They hosted a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner with all of their extended family.  They had about 30 people, 2 turkeys, 1 brisket, and a brand new handmade farmers table.  Everything was beautiful and was executed perfectly.  So much fun!

The Wilson family was able to join as well - Julia, Auntie M, Uncle Joel, and Lydia.
Playtime with Uncle Derek
The wonderful Chef - thank you Eric for the wonderful menu!!
The boys playing with Hudson's hot wheels and airplanes. Eli was in heaven.  Thanks for sharing Hud!

Ry-Roo and Eli
Pallyn (Kyle's GF), was such a trooper and SOOO good with the kids.  She basically saved Eli from falling in the pool, and then they played with the water guns for the rest of the afternoon.  Thanks Pallyn!
Everley's thansgiving dinner.  She loved the turkey and sweet potatoes - yum!

Some of our Louisiana family came over for a bit as well.  Everley was comfy cozy with Cornbread and his new shirt!  Lookin' good Cornbread!!
The Fam!

Cousins - Eli, Franky, Evi
Granny and Everley
Yes, because we cooked soo much, so aprons were definitely an accessory that we needed to have ;)
Lydia and Aslynn

Look at everybody! What a good looking extended family
Luby, Ashby, Gist, Wilson, Williams, Davis Family!
Well because after Thanksgiving we had to start decorating the Christmas tree.  Look closely though, the "star" is a coyote skull they found in the pasture that Kyle shot .... because, why not?!?! (gross!!)
