We went and supported our Granny with the "Light the Night Walk". This was a mile walk at night with our lanterns to supports Lymphoma and Leukemia. Eli was thrilled to stay up past bed time and support our Granny; however, he wanted her to be there so bad. This was such a great event and such a great cause. Glad we were able to attend as a family.
I loved this sea of lanterns. Red lanterns were for supporters, white were survivors, and yellow were in memory of. Fighting cancer takes a village, and I am proud to be a part of that village. #beatcancer!!
Eli walked the entire mile, and loved every bit of this event. And he got to stay up past his bedtime ... Definite win-win.
First fireworks show for Eli and Evi. They were mesmorized. So much in fact, that Eli had to get out of the stroller and get a closer look for himself. He just got right out and sat on the ground to watch in awe.
