August

We started August with a quick work trip to Connecticut.  Thank you Mimi for coming with and staying with Evi during my meetings.  You are the best - thank you!!
Evi + MiMi = <3

The last part of the trip coming home was not fun .... 8 hour delay in DFW -- DFW!!!!! Airports normally gross me out, but what was I suppossed to do with Evi?  Tummy time it was on multiple blankets.  She was a trooper though.  Could not have asked for a better traveler!
We went out to Lake LBJ with some friends, and figured out that it was on the same street as my Dad's house - no joke!  We were able to hangout with everybody.  Glad this worked out.  Feeding deer with Grammi is one of Eli's favorite things to do.  He walks right on up to them and feeds them out of his hand ... so brave!

Friends and babies.  Such a fun get together!

Paddleboating with babes and husbands ... not my first choice, but we had to get to the other side...
 Eli and Poppi time!

Just hanging out with sister.

I went and had an archery lesson with my team at work.  Not bad, especially since it was at my favorite spa/resort at Travassa.
Eli love running and playing in the rain.  Especially with his dad.
Rain, Rain, Go away ... or you can stay, as long as you have cute rain boots to accessorize.  Thanks to great cousin hand me downs.

Patio dinners are the best, but only when there is a little cold front to get the heat down in the 90s
I looked out at this picture one day, and my heart was completely full.  Derek feeding Evi, Eli playing ball in the back.  I could not ask for anything more.  Love all of them!
Snowcones and Firetrucks at school for their Summer's last blast.  Glad we could be there and have fun with him.

 Saturday morning snuggles.
A full rainbow over our house after one of the monsoons.  Love that we get to teach Eli about God's promises through a rainbow.  <3
This was so sweet.  Derek was working from home this day, and I come in after getting ready and see some family reading time before school.

Hanging out with Locke playing, fishing for floaters ... literally they catch poop in water - pretty hilarious!  The boys loved it.
Running late to church, and someone needed breakfast/we were fulfilling our bribe to get going.  First donut was clearly a success....

 Sibling love - ha!
One year ago we found out we were getting a sweet baby girl.  Still love sharing this memory!

Happy 30th birthday Kyle!!  You still got it ....
