Gender Reveal Weekend

We had so much fun the weekend we found out whether Eli was having a little brother or sister.  Mom, Charles, and Ryder came down to help.  Eli and Ryder are still the best of buddies and it was so cute to watch them play and love on each other.  I am told that Ryder run's into her Mimi's house looking for Eli and asking where he is.  She was such a great helper on the photo shoot as well.  Very content and fed Eli when he was getting "Hangry".  This weekend would not have happened without our team and I love that we were able to all find out together ... well sort of :)

Mimi and Pa brought down the kids picnic table.  Apparently its too big for the cousins, so we will graciously take this hand me down.

My little boy doesnt look so little in this picture.  I think Ryder looks so cute, and then there is Eli. Not to say that he is not cute in this picture, but I just laugh at his shirt that is too small, full belly, and spaghetti sauce all over his shorts .. all boy for sure!
Obligatory bath picture.  Why do all of these make me smile!
Our Dream Team!!  Mom and Charles specifically came down the night before to fill the box with blue or pink confetti, balloons, streamers, etc.  This idea is similar to a pinata, but you pull strings on the bottom and everything comes out -- the one pinterest idea that actually came through.  With that being said, they waited for everybody to go to bed, took the box and all of their "fillers" and went to their room to open the envelope.  They were the first to know.  Mom could not even talk or look at me in the morning because she didn't want to give anything away.  That was a little frustrating when I needed advice on the outfit; however, it all worked out great, and we are soooo thankful for them for making this happen!!

Ryder was such a good helper and sharer.  They hung out the whole time, and Ryder fed Eli her snacks.  One bite Ryder, one bite Eli ...

When we did the box confetti, balloon ideas, we didn't take into account all of the clean up.  We should have taken a rake and some trash bags.  Especially in an Austin park, you dont want to be called out for littering :) ... You can see Charles picking up the confetti in the backgroud - ha!  Thanks again Pa!!
Celebration Brunch!
