We had a great time visiting\everybody for Easter. Derek's family even came over from Shreveport for a little bit. Nice to meet in the middle for everyone! This was Eli's first Easter that he could participate in events. He had fun learning from cousins on the Easter egg hunts (and learned how to steal eggs from their baskets). In addition, it was fun teaching him the basics of the true meaning of Easter with the cross, and telling him "He has Risen".
Some BUNNY loves you
Eli's first Easter Egg Hunt.
And of course with Ryder Roo (Ry-Roo as he says it) and Aslynn. Besties at its finest
Easter services at compass. Love getting to worship with Ali at her worship team.
Everley decided to photobomb Ali's precious "favorite grandchild" picture with Granny.
4 generations of the leading women in my life. Everley is so lucky to learn from this group!
Hanging out with Pa after the service..
Everley's first Easter and one month celebration. She decided to rock the vintage look with her mom's dress. (Or Aunt Ali's depending on who you ask :)
Granny meeting Everley for the first time. Granny's name (Beverley) was the inspiration behind Everley. Love when we can all get together!!
I <3 Easter baskets!!
I tried to get an ugly sleeping picture of my sister, because she always manages to sneak one of me. However, she still looks so perfect and peaceful -- ugh!! :)
There are so many captions for this picture!! I had no idea that I took this selfie. I was trying to get a cute bunny ear picture with Eli, but he thought it would be better for him to wear the ears and pull them off my head -- except that they were stuck in my hair and it was pulling every strand out with them. Small price to pay for such a priceless picture!!
Take 2 :)
Ryder Roo is so sweet with Everley. She wants to be near her all the time -- seriously, all the time. I will find her talking to Evi sometimes just saying "You are so cute". Love that Ry-Roo has such a big heart for her cousins.
Mimi and Evi
Opening Easter baskets. Look closely, you will see Evi in Derek's version of the Bjorn'/baby wrap ... his sweatshirt all zipped up and warm. She sure didnt seem to mind :)
Possibly my favorite activity of Easter. I love dying Easter eggs, and glad I could do it with Eli this year ... even if it got everywhere and he didn't understand why he had to use the spoon to get the egg out.
