We loved hanging out with family the week of Easter. Derek and I got some great date time because we had wonderful babysitters, Eli/Evi loved hanging out with cousins and animals -- it was a win/win for all!! Eli, Evi, and I stayed a few extra days when Derek had to go back to work. He rode the Mega Bus back down to Austin. Hopefully we can enjoy that one day and not have to fight the crazies and traffic on 35.
Debbie is one of mom's best friends, and has been in the family forever!! Debbie was Alison's teacher when she was just a babe. It was fun to have her around and meet the next generation. El and Everley loved every bit of her visit!
What can I say - they are still the cutest duo out there.
Love that we were able to get some sweet cuddle time together. Melts my heart.
My entire heart right here. Love my family to pieces, and I love that Eli wants to be near his sister all the time. He is so sweet with her!
Visiting animals with Mimi!
Who doesn't love a nap on Mimi's bed
Our first date night!! The last time I was at the Glorias in colleyville, I found out I was pregnant the next day with Everley. So we saw it fitting to celebrate there for the first time ... and I really just wanted my Sangria swirl margarita - so fun!!
Kyle came and picked us up and we enjoyed a night cap together - or the boys at least did. I was done by then ...
Pasture Adventures with Uncle Kygoo
Eli loves playing with Little Bit and Angel. He has figured out how to open and close their gate to he can play with them.
Hi mom!!!
I love this wrap - " The Boba". This has made all the difference for me. I can wrap Everley up on me, be hands free, and play with Eli or get stuff down around the house/errands. Why didnt I have this with Eli?? I guess its the things you learn as a second time mom. This thing is AMAZING!!
Take you daughter or grandchildren to work day. We had fun visiting PA at work. Eli had a blast looking at all the animals in Pa's office.
Special time with PA.
I think they look pretty content :)
Middle of the night snuggles. Love this little girl
I never took road trip by myselfs with Eli - NEVER. I just never wanted to drive 35 by myself, and my mom always offered to meet us half way in Waco. Well now we need both carseats and I need my car when we visit. Before, we were able to share everything, so now we cant meet in the middle anymore :( . So, I sucked it up and made it happen. We drove back by ourselves, and we made it all the way to Round Rock before needing to stop and feed Evi. Eli was great and pleasant. Thank you to Aunt Ali and the portable DVD player. He watched the Lion King, and we rocked out to some Toddler music together. With lots of prayer and a perfect sleeping baby - WE MADE IT!
Derek works in Round Rock, so we were able to have quick visit in the parking lot while. He was happy to see his family after a week of being by himself for a week.
I dont think Evi wanted to get back in the carseat ...
