After being on "semi-bed rest" and working from home the entire week with my feet propped up, I desperately needed to get out of the house for just a little bit. I have never wanted to do my hair so bad and put on a coat of mascara to get out of the house.
We decided to go right down the street to our local HEB. They built this one to replicate a Central Market, with a café and outdoor bar. We just took a deck of cards, sat outside, and enjoyed the live music. I love when Derek and I have impromptu date nights - My kind of evening with the husband!

The next day we were invited over to the Halamuda's new house for dinner. Such a lovely evening and amazing new home. Thank you Jenni and Brian!!
Mom even joined us She came in town to help out with errands, laundry, baby stuff, basically EVERYTHING!! Thank you so much for everything mom!!!. Glad we were all able to get out for a little bit and enjoy the company of great friends.
