The Taylor/Strauss International Wedding

I have known Heather since we study abroad together in Kassel, Germany over 12 years ago.  It definitely was not an instant friendship ... I was a loud Texas that wore blue eye shadow, and she was a tiny little yankee punk rocker.  Well, opposites attract and I am so thankful for our friendship and that it has continued over several moves, countries, weddings, and now children.  We were so amazed that Heather and Rafa flew in from Germany to our wedding, so it was the least we could do was attend theirs in Philly...and so glad that we did!!.  We had a blast, and loved visiting with my Philly family.

We were very thankful that Eli stayed with Mimi at cousin camp, and Everley was able to enjoy her first flight.  Overall she is a great baby to travel with!  Glad her first trip was to meet my favorite Philly/German family.
 Texas to Philly! #locallygrown

Starting off with our pre-wedding anti-oxidant smoothie.

Heather's family was VERY gracious and amazing to let us stay at their house the first night we arrived.  It was definitely an international slumber party.  Heather and Rafa now live in Thailand, Germany, UK, and Canada were representing, and of course Texas (because we are our own country as well :)

Lisa (Heather's mom) and Savannah (sister).

I <3 this family!  Instant friends.  Emily went to college with Heather, and Adam and Derek were an instant hit.  I love how the boys were in charge of the babes until they needed their mamas (pic below).  They also had their 2 year old with them as well.  Eli would have had a blast playing dinosaurs with him!!
 Our nursing corner ...

Love this girl - so happy for her!  I hate that she is so far away, but love that she chooses great countries to go and visit!

One of the best reasons going to the northeast, Yuengling!!
The "OG's" ... (originals). I first met Aaron in Kassel, and he in turn introduced me to Heather.

Hanging out with Dad and enjoying the King size bed on the wedding morning before the final rush to get ready.

Getting ready with the girls.  We love Aunt Amy!!!

THE BOX!  I had one job, I had to recreate this pinterest idea.  The pressure was on, and I did not want to mess anything up.  Glad it turned out ok and I got Lisa's stamp of  approval ;)
Fun times on the dance floor.
