BIG Thank you to everybody that came and helped, we could not have done this with out you. I felt like I mentally regressed into learning how to be a new mom - becoming aware that you can't just sit down and finish your list of chores/tasks all at once. I wanted to unload and do everything and get started right away, but with Eli that was a little difficult to achieve. I had to keep reminding myself that not everything needs to be done at once. However, HUGE Thank you Mom, Charles, Dad & Sally -- yall are the best!! Without your help, I don't think this move would have happened. Thank you & Love yall so very much!
Boys love boxes!!!!
It looks so different being empty...
Goodbye Apartment!
Moving Day!! Sienna not quite sure what to make of everything at first, but now she loves the space as well. As soon as we go to bed she starts her exploring in every room.My oh my - thank you Charles!! Charles is the landscape King!! There was a huge hideous bush in the corner that he dug up for me, and removed 2 random flower beds as well. Thank you!!!!!! Our yard is looking beautiful because of you :)
Thank you Mimi for feeding so I can organize
Eli loving his play room!! So happy and excited for all of his toys and his very own room, instead of having everything crammed in the living room.
Our first sunset overlooking the neighborhood greenbelt. So pretty!Eli loving his play room!! So happy and excited for all of his toys and his very own room, instead of having everything crammed in the living room.
These are some of the hiking/mountain biking trails down a block from us. So stunning, and you better believe that Derek is in heaven with his trail rides :)
I love our Iris. This was such a wonderful little smile from up above. Our first morning at the house, this bloomed in our front yard. It was Easter weekend, and I love that we got a welcome gift from God. Such a blessing to know that we are in the right place, and this was all in His plan!
Did I tell you that we have a garden?!?!?! The Davis Farmer's Market is open for business - WOOHOOO!!! I have been dreaming about a home and a garden for years now. The bed was already there, and we knew we had to get started right away! Thank you mom and Ali for all of your expertise. Now lets see if I can keep everything alive :)
I am such a hot mess in the picture from the moving weekend, but I love the garden shot. We are growing squash, garlic, 4 different types of tomatoes, bell peppers, jalapeno, zucchini, onions, spinch/lettuce/arugula, cilantro/basil/oregano, and there was already an asparagus bed as well. I will definitely keep you posted on the progress.
