Mom/Mimi Came to Visit!

My mom came down one last time before the arrival of our sweet baby girl. Sometimes, a girl just needs her mom. Plus she is great to make sure everything is on track, help with the details, and to remind me of any last minute items. I am so thankful for her, words can not describe!!!

Of course we had to go to the zoo again!! Eli's new favorite animal, the cougar cub ... or kitty cat

And how convenient that this happened to be the same weekend we shot our maternity photos (wink, wink). I love that she was there to help. Who else would be able to handle my costume changes, ~~stealing~~ or borrowing people's dogs in order to wrangle Eli, all to get the perfect shot?!?! #mimitotherescue

Sometimes you just need to throw some rocks in the river with dad afterwards.

Eli's Valentines Day Party

We had so much fun going to Eli's class for his Valentines Day Party. We were the only parents there, so we played with all of his friends and just hung out for a bit. Besides Eli getting a little territorial over his dad and the thousands of balls in the yard, I would say it was a successful day. I love getting a chance to watch him in his element at school. <3

Happy 32nd Birthday Derek/Daddy!

Happy Birthday Derek!! You do so much for this family, so it was fun to take a minute and celebrate you. WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!
We decided to celebrate all weekend, starting with a massage and an amazing cajun dinner with his one and only, followed by a Superbowl party. Such a fun time, and Eli enjoyed every bit of it as well.
