Back to my Beach Roots

This time with my mama and sister.  We had such a great time in Corpus/Port A.  The weather was perfect, no red tide in site, and the beach was absolutely beautiful! Moving forward, I think we will always do a beach trip in the fall.  The water was so clear and refreshing, beaches were so nice and not crowded, and all the hotels were half price - win, win, win!!
This was the perfect girls trip to spend with my leading ladies.  It's not very often where we can slip away from work and kiddos.  Thank you to everyone who helped out so we could make this happen!!
 My happy place!

Morning walk with my mama ... #momvisors
The infamous knee/tan/beach picture.  Only thing missing is the glass of prosecco!
No matter how hard you try to make a picture glamorous for your husband, you are still wearing a visor - lol!
Sneaking pictures of my sister actually relaxing ... better yet, lying down and napping!! This never happens!
Dinner out on the town in Port A
The obligatory awkward ice cream photo.  Photo cred clearly goes to my loving sister.
 this is the best!!  #nowords #almostparadise #theothersister
 The Visor club

I loved living at the Beach club.  So many great memories.  I really took for granted taking 2 minutes to WALK to the beach!
 My old apartment
Where my sales career started.  Good 'ole Electric Tan.  Derek still makes fun of me for how we had to answer the phone ... "Come on Down, We'll make you Brown".  I guess I don't blame him, ha!

Airplanes!

Eli's second love (after animals) is airplanes.  It was only fitting after the pumpkin patch that we make a pit stop in Llano and visit the airport.  Eli had a hay day driving the golf cart for airplane citings and landings, not to mention playing in Poppi's plane.  Maybe next time we will take a little cruise in the air.

 Watching some airplanes come in.
Buttons, steering wheels, and gadgets ... oh my!  This is clearly not the correct terminology, and I am sure my dad will give me a lesson in the proper nomenclature next time we are out there; however, this will have to do for now.  Eli was stoked!

 Airplanes!!
 That sweet sweet face!
I am very curious as to what this conversation was all about....
Ending any proper day with pull ups on the wing.

Sweet Berry Farms

I love this place!  This was our first time to go, and you better believe this will be a fall and spring tradition.  Yes, spring as well.  You can go back from March-May to pick your own strawberries and blackberries -- yes please!!  For now, we just enjoyed the pumpkin patch and all of the extra activities they had to offer.  Eli loved it, and so did his mama!!  Thanks Poppi and Grammi for going with us - we had a blast!

I love this sweet little picture and his growing mullet :)
Picking out the perfect pumpkin with Poppi

Feeding goats with Grammi.  As mentioned before, there is not one animal Eli doesn't love...

His first horse ride.  Eli did great!! The horse was a little bigger than expected, but he hung on and had a great time.

My intense little artist and pumpkin painting

Just a little reminder for us  - we will be back!
