First Day of School, 2020-2021

Back at it, here we go again!  Everley started full time Pre-K at a new pre-school closer to home, 9-3pm. Eli started First Grade at the same elementary.  For the first month, we are going with a hybrid mode until they assess to see if we can go back full time or stick with this for a while.  He goes to school in the afternoon from 12:45-3:15 with masks the entire time, and then remote learning with us at home in the morning.  So far it has been pretty manageable, but remote learning will always be challenging with Eli.  He does love his bike riding breaks, that is for sure!  The bus comes and picks him up down the street, and he always rides his bike.  After we pick up Evi from school, we have to go get her bike to ride down to the bus stop and hang out until he comes, and then they ride bikes together.  Maybe one day we will get a full days work in ... maybe ... :)
(I'll let you be the judge of the 1st vs. 2nd day of school pictures.  I found the official back to school board later in the week -- oops!

Eli - 1st grade
6yrs old
Height - 3'8"
Wants to be a Dinosaur Hunter when he grows up

Everley Pre-K
4yrs old
Height - 3'5"
Wants to be a gymnast and ballerina when she grows up.

Clearly the 2nd day ..

Labor Day Weekend - Day 3 - Sasco Beach

Well, last weekend of summer wouldn't be the same if we didn't go to our favorite beach.  It's perfect for both of the kiddos for chilling on the beach and exploring on the rocks, finding sea creatures, etc.

Labor Day Weekend - Day 2 - Indian Wells Hiking Day

We are fortunate enough to have cute little hiking trails all around us.  Indian wells is in the town next to us, a 2 mile paved path where the kids can take bikes or walk, and then we can venture on the little trails around us.  It turned out to be a beautiful day and so much fun!
